Welcome to my blog.

The idea here is to keep track of the important things, that I would otherwise forget, disregard or ignore.

I expect the content to be mostly knitting related. I'm way jel of my internet knitting friends who have humongous lists of accomplishments.

I'm sure I'm accomplished. I just can't remember how. ;-)

My No-Purl Monkwy Socks.  Beaded!  Love, love, love 'em.!!

It's been a very long time since I blogged, because I've been busy knitting!  I've just about finished everyhting that was OTN the last time I wrote.  Terri is wearing her socks, the makeup bags for the girls are done except for the lining and buttons..don't remember what else was there.  But I've also made a darling sweater for Carter, which probably wasn't even on the horizon then.  Oh, yes.  The no purl monkey socks are done as well.  November was very productive!

I've started another pair of Mermaid socks, this time toe up.  I'm waitng for advice from the Socknitters list re: the afterthought heel before I contiue.  Let's see if I can get some pictures in this thing....

Terri's socks from the Sock Calendar, Socks for All Seasons February,  Modern Romance.    The yarn is georgous; soft and snuggley, but the pattern doesn't really show too well.  She loves them and that's all that counts.
This is a stock picture of the cosmetics bags.  I haven't photographed the ones I made.

  3. Beautiful Monkey socks. I love the beading. Did you add the beads with a crochet hook or thread them on before you began?

Love the blog and hope there are some new posts soon.
